Another Fullfilling Yet Painful Week

It's been another week filled with contentment and a little pain in the ass due to some foolish circumstances. Here's again a summary of my 1 week in Setapak.

21/1/08 Monday

It's dad's birthday today!!!
Ah Ma and PaPa. PaPa and Ah Ma. Rhymes aint it?

I got home to Puchong after my class at 3. As usual, my family gathered today for a sumptuous dinner with Ah Ma along. My aging Ah Ma has not been in her best condition these few years. She has been always unsatisfied with a lot of things that is not a neccesity for her to care about. Sometimes when she get mad she says many things that weren't courteous. Initially she wasn't interested to join us for dinner after an hour long waiting for our late arrival due to the heavy rain that bringabout traffic jams everywhere. Dad the main event today has to persuade her while bringing out many reasons to ask her join us for dinner. All we want for her is to be happy though. Mum finally caught Ah Ma's attention when she says she wants Ah Ma to try out new food. Basically, what Ah Ma wanted was attention by us HAHA. She's getting more and more childish as she aged. Perhaps thats the trend nowadays of old folks. After dinner, we got back to Ah Ma's house for the cake cutting ceremony. Ah Ma was feeling better now with the potrayal of her cheerful smile. Present for dad? Nah, dad didn't really expect us to buy him things as he is always wise in spending money. Instead, we got him a card with lots of words of gratitude by us siblings. Once again, dad we wish you a ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND STAY HEALTHY ALWAYS!!!

22/1/08 Tuesday. Klang Trip Day 1

Classmates.

I've always heard so much about Klang but i've never been there personally being a local here in K.L. Luckily in Utar i get to have coursemates from all over Malaysia. My classmate Why Kit happened to be one of the locals in Klang. With his permission, 8 of us classmates gathered together to his place with him touring us.

We finally laid our footsteps on the Klang's territory. This place is none other than a K.L city except for those high rise buildings mushrooming in the city. We had also finally layed our sight on the largest Jusco Mall in Malaysia. It's Huge! Klang is a friendly place to me with most of the locals Hokkien Lang. Speaking about Hokkien Lang, I'm a disgrace to their Lang. I'm a Hokkien Lang who doesn't know how to speak Hokkien. Worst of all, i'm a local in K.L who can't speak Canto fluently. Haiz, really hard to communicate sometimes even with locals around here. I'm only confident using Mandarin and English. Not too bad gua?

At night, we had our dinner in one of the best ' Dai Chou' in Klang. This 'Dai Chou' in Klang itself has been doing business for more than 40 years. OMG their dishes were heavenly tasty!!!

After dinner it was time for futsal. Why Kit called his local friends to have a game with us. My right ankle wasn't fully recovered, but i just couldn't resist the temptation of futsal. Luckily, i wasn't hurt during the game and still managed to score goals. Man, i fucking love this sport!!! Haix didn't manage to get pics for futsal that day. Thx to Ying holding my camera without utlizing it. >.>

We went for a drink in one of the hawker center at Meru to quench our thirst and next we adjourned to Why Kit's place for a good night sleep.

Chit chatting.

Chit chatting 2.

23/1/08 Wednesday. Klang Trip Day 2

Happy Thaipussam!! Wishing all indian folks in my dreams.

We got up at 9am today, packed out stuff, loaded them in the car and ready for...Home?..No not yet. It's Ba Kut Teh time!!! I've lived my life 20 years now till today i finally get to taste Klang's popular food delicacy. Klang's Ba Kut Teh is popular in the way that they have Ba Kut Teh cooked dry.

This is it but already kena sapu.

Mr. Prez.

Couple? I doubt so.

Fuiyoh!

-_-

Ba Kut Teh was just a warm up for today. After filling up our tummy, we went to GreenBox Karaoke at Jusco Mall to exercise our vocal cords. Crazy moments we had there...

OMG thai kwan is so high.

After our karaoke session. It's Goodbye to Klang.

C YA!

24/1/08 Thursday. I've Learnt My Lesson.

My fractured right ankle. PAINFUL!!!

There, i got this from my own stupidity to go play basketball without having my ankle recovered. In fact, i fractured it during a warm up game with those basketball dudes at tarc. Damn, i'm such a fool!!! Coincidently, my housemate who gone with me for basketball also hurt his ankle but not as serious as mine. Two of us help each other home while limping back. Haix, felt really awkward today of being such a clumsy person to hurt myself in such a foolish way. Tarc basketball court has to be the culprit to all my ankle injuries. By calculation, i've only played 2 perfect games without having any injuries of those many times i've been there. So, who's to be blamed?

26/1/08 Saturday. Relieved & 2 Weeks Self Ground

Finally bandaged. My doggy came to look after me.

Soon as i got home from setapak, bro fetched me to see the Chinese Physician for the 2nd time in 1 week. I told the physician that i stepped on a stone just now and hurt my ankle as i got off balanced. Obviously i was lying and i'm being caught for that. I'm being adviced to not go for outdoor activities for at least a month but i shortened it to 2 weeks myself. At least i still gave time for my ankle to recover. HAHA. The Chinese Physician purposely gave me a bandaged that is harder for me to walk as much as i want to. He also told me that as you walk, you'll be reminded to get more rest and not stress your ankle. Today i'm officially a disabled person, much rest is needed. Off to sleep now. Night all!!!

Hard Long Week

Sien Look.

Sad to say, i only have time to blog during my weekends mainly is because my student house at setapak doesn't have internet connection. As promised by Tmnet, the applied telephone line is supposed to be fixed by last week but it has been 2 weeks now and still there is noyone servicing us. I had to bear with it then, perhaps next week ? the week after ? Please Tmnet, be efficient a bit lah, you're the leading company to provide internet service in Malaysia leh, make us proud a bit lah!

Last week was really a hard week to get over with. I had subjects like Engineering Maths II, Dynamics, Solid Mechanics and Manufacturing Technology this semester and they are freaking hard to be understandable. I began to get tensed up as i couldn't follow part of the lectures plus i've been infected by an epidemic called lazyness. Many days of worrying but not studying is the potential reason for what makes my life so hard last week.

Snapping each other's boobs during boredom. Btw thats my roommate.

Muahaha Gothca! Snapping him half naked during boredom.

Even though it's just 4 subs for this semester(unlike last semester i had 7 subs), i had to attend classes for 6 days!!!HOLY SHIT!!! I've only got limited time back to my house at puchong and limited time to hang out with my friends. That's a harsh thing yo! I began to homesick now. (sob sob).

During my free time last week, i still managed to visit my ji mui's house at Tar villa and gone overnight. Of course, it wasn't me alone. Veron and Kok Chee came along too. We had a costly dinner together at Jaya Jusco and spent time walking around the mall.

As we got home, we'd realized that we left the housekey at the restaurant at Jusco. Specifically i'm the one to be blamed. For some unknowing reason, Siew Yen actually handed me the keys and asked me to held responsible for it. Well, for some unidentified reason again i actually left the keys right on top of the table where none of us found out about it. For one moment when i got back to their apartment, i felt incredulous for what i've done and ??? for why siew yen asked me to keep the keys when they can keep it themselves. OF COURSE, the key owner choo wan was stressing and scolding me for not keeping the keys. I told her to be optimistic, the keys wouldn't just gone missing as i'm sure i last saw the keys was when we dine at that particular restaurant. OF COURSE, i'm again being yelled by her when i ask her to find a solution rather than stressing so much over a lost item. Luckily she made a move by calling her friend who happened to pass by that restaurant and finally got back their keys. We spent a night together in one stuffy room watching movie and slept at 3 am i guess.

The next day i had to got up at early at 10 am for what? Class? Noooo..it's holiday for me every wednesday and it's also Sports Day for us ME and MH students. This activity was actually pioneered and organized by the course rep himself and me as we got into a conversation of spending our time wisely this semester doing sports while we had so much free time. I reckon this activity will bring everyone closer where we get to play hard together and perhaps study hard together.

On that particular day itself, we planned to go for futsal. 15++ of us gathered together at genting klang's pizza hut and then we walked all the way to the futsal center. We had a great game that day knowing that Mechanical students owned those Mechatronic students nicely haha! Well, winning isn't the issue actually, most importantly is that we have a healthy sport to sweat it out together. After the game, everyone was so freaking exhausted as many of us weren't doing exercise frequently unlike those days we were back in high school. We had our lunch together in a big group and then we got home to rest. Soon as i got home it started raining and it's the best time to sleep. This day ended well when i finally found my new sport and peers.

Constipated look.

Thursday was an ill day for me. I had stomach aches again. A minor one to be specific. I spent the day resting at home after my lectures and slept earlier today after taking my medication. Thx ying for providing me the medicine. It works!

Friday is a terrible day for me. I sprained my ankle, it swells like a tumour and i could barely walk. I got that from a basketball game at Tarc and it hurts me even more as my housemate who got there with me left me walking alone. Diu! Nevertheless i still felt a little comforted when he buys me dinner as he gots home.

Saturday!!! Finally it's time to go home. Had 3 hours Dynamic lecture. 1 hour concentrating and next 2 hours listening to my mp3 and slumbering in the lecture hall. After lecture, mum came to picked me up as i couldn't walk to take bus and lrt home. I felt bad as mum had to come fetch me as promised yesterday even though she has migraine. Obviously i was touched by her sacrificing for me. If she'd told me she had migraine i'd endure the pain at my ankle to get myself home. MAMA, thx for everything i love you lotz!!! As i got home, i had my new haircut. Short-nya....:'(

This week was really a tough one to get over with. I'd better not slack so much and be more diligent in my studies. Of course sports shouldn't be excluded in my daily routine and my diet should be the first priority to ensure a better health while staying at setapak.

OMG!!!WTF!?!?!

It was a dreary noon today and the glare of sunlight is bloody hot. I was having minor stomach aches this morning until the class ended at 11 30am where i have to rush back to my student house to settle my 'big business' when the pain goes excruciating. It was a huge relieve after the 'big business' was done. I wouldn't have to suffer so much like just now if it wasn't for the nasi lemak i had yesterday night. In fact, i had additional sambal for my plate of mouth-watering nasi lemak, and perhaps thats what caused me so much pain this morning. After having to pack my stuff, i followed my roommate's car back to Puchong as he happens to stay nearby my residence.

On our journey back, we happened to witness a tragical car accident that took place right in front of our eyes. Apparently, we were travelling on the this highway right before the turning to Ampang road 50 metres in front of us. I was quietly sitting at the backseat while looking at the outside scenery. I happened to see a bunch of Malay boys cycling along the highway as well, of course at the bypass of the highway.

Out of a sudden, one of the malay boys manoeuvred out of the bypass to the path where cars were supposed to be speeding to get into the road leading to Ampang. At that moment, i was thinking calmly to myself that the act of that Malay boy was foolish and suicidal when suddenly thick white smokes appeared and loud screeching tyres awakened my senses while looking helplessly at this white proton saga skidding behind this malay boy.

The next moment was so horrible! I told to myself 'Oh god! this aint happening'! while chanting 'Amitofo' several times. That white proton saga allegedly smashed on the cyclist throwing him few metres away at the direction of the huge momentum. My roommate and i were stunt for a while after our car passed that dreadful scene. I quickly looked back to see if the boy was ok and at my astonishment that boy stood up like he was made of iron while hopping as he tries to walk. I had a huge relieve again knowing that the malay boy was still alive!

AGAIN!!! another accident occured 500 metres away from that horrible scene just now. It was an accident involving 5 cars that were all sandwiched and creamed big time! I could see the hissing coolant escaping from the smashed radiator of the sandwiched cars and smashed window glasses all over the road. One of the cars somehow got on to the barrier dividing the opposite highways. That was kinda hilarious with the driver still trapped inside. In some way, that driver caught everyone's attention on that busy road. He could be thinking how on earth did he got up there lolx. I presume no lives were taken at that accident scene.

I got home slightly 15 minutes later and had a nice nap of course after having a quicky bath.

I guess that's the reason why i preffered to not drive to Uni after witnessing two car accidents today. I still remember during my few weeks of driving to school alone, i've witnessed several hideous car accidents along that highway i'm travelling today. One of them that frightenes me most is the body of a motorist being dragged on the road with blood stains all over after an instant hit by a lorry if i'm not mistaken. For your information, it was a brutal accident that occured just right in front of the tasik selatan lrt station. Whenever i travel passed that road i felt so uneasy for that prior incident.

Therefore, guys and girls please have 100% concentration on the road while driving and do not attempt to cut lanes or the consequences will be tragical sometimes beyond your imagination.

Happy Birthday Mum & Farewell To Pin

Today the 8th of January 2008 is my mummy's birthday and at the same time it was pin's departure day to U.S.

I got up at 8am today and continue sleeping when i'm alerted by an sms by my course rep saying that class was cancelled. Finally i manage to wake up again at 1:30pm and left my student house 15 minutes later after having a speedy bath.

The rain still doesn't want to spare me as it pours heavily along my journey home. I got stucked in traffic jam and the train arrival delayed that took me 4 hours before i finally reached home.

Finally i got home at 6 pm and i barely had any rest when dad asked my siblings and i to get ready for dinner. Mum the 'main event' actually got home at 8 something while we siblings were waiting for her arrival. It's mum's habit to always be late so we're literally used to it. We havent really got a chance to wish her Happy Birthday when the moment she entered the car. She has been on the phone along the way to the restaurant. Thats 'harsh' mum...haha!! But nvm, mum's busy doing business to help out in our family so we should basically respect her whatever.

We arrived at a vegetarian restaurant recommended by a friend of mum named the " Sky Garden Cuisine" if i'm not mistaken. This restaurant is really one of a kind with its dishes cooked in western style but were all vegetarian. For example the fried chicken that looks so alike with its inner filling mushrooms rather than real chicken meat. Besides, the decoration of the entire restaurant is so European where you get the feeling of you dining in a 5 star restaurant except for our attire that doesn't blends well with the setting. By the way, thanks to my elder bro for treating us for this dinner today. It's more than meaningful to us as a family and also to the 'main event'.

After dinner, we got home and i had to leave home again to meet Pin at the airport before he leave to U.S. I fetched along wan xin who stays at my residence and fled to the airport. We arrived there in time having to see the next 'main event', Ah thong and Evonne there together with Pin's dad. We had limited time together taking photos and chit chatting around before Pin finally left us. Everyone of us get to give him a farewell hug before he entered the departure hall. I got the feeling where everyone hold back their feelings while waving to him as he vanished from our sight. Pin's dad even brought out a joke at that very moment while looking at his only son leaving from home to a faraway land. I believe Pin's dad was the one having hard time holding back his feelings as he barely lay a sight on Pin while he left us. By the way Pin, if you happen to bump into my blog, i'd wish you again the very best for this year and years to come. Take care and never forget your friends back here in Malaysia. We miss ya LOTZ dude!

before leaving

I got home 15 mins later from the airport and still managed to sing along Happy Birthday to Mum and have some cakes again from Secret Recipe. The birthday ceremony ended real fast as mum wasn't feeling at her best. She tends to get herself fed up when she has unfinished duty. Dad wasn't happy with that attitude of mum making a fuss over a small matter. They both got upstairs without having cakes. We siblings were stunt over mum's attitude and we got to bed very soon after having a taste on that yummy chocolate indulgence cake.

This spectacular day is really tiring to me but at least i've played my part well as a son and also a friend to the two 'main event' in my life.

Good night! Cheers!

Back To Uni Life...

3 months of holiday ends has just ended in a blink of an eye. My 2nd semester of my degree has finally commenced on the 7th of January. I'm still living in a holiday mood and going back to my student house at setapak is really dreadful for me.

I had to go back to my house at Setapak on Sunday just to clean up that horrendous mess in my room filled with filthy dust. I had a terrible flu after that as my nose is sensitive to dust. Luckily for dinner i got my housemates to ' da pao' for me, so walking out to buy myself dinner isn't a neccesity and i finally get to rest.

1st day of my 2nd semester this year is nothing happening. As usual, i get to class in time listening to the lecturer mumbling in front without knowing what this class is about. Class ends at 3pm and i skipped Bahasa Malaysia subject as i'm getting an exemption for that subject.

After that, i get to spend some quality time with my classmates at Jusco. I spent 14 bucks for my favourite butter cookies and 5 bucks for four apples to ensure a better digestion in my tummy.

At 6pm i had an appointment with a friend i met from a camp i participated last November. She's currently a student in Tarc working part time in a direct selling company and she's willing to share with me her business. In spite of the free time i had, i was thinking why not? So i actually agreed to go and take a look at her office somewhere at Klcc.

Suprisingly she was working under Lamp Berger. I had actually heard many unpleasant feedbacks from this direct selling company until i had a glimpse at their place. I've been taken to a tour around their office with the many lamps they have, cosmetics and spa. Besides i'm also been introduced to many high profile people there and being asked for my opinions and much more about their company. Along my tour at their office until i'm back home i've heard different urges to participate in their business. I was literally tired when they gave me loads of advices when i told them i need time to consider.

Indeed i can see that individuals working in this company can earn millions of bucks in fact lots more. Their marketing plan is unique and their working culture is different. I admire that and i understand that a working employee can never earn that much of an income in many years. No offence ya if you're one of them lamp bergers, if you think we have a poor person's mindset please do not condemn on us. If you'd been rich stay proud then, at least respect people on their choices made. Thx ^_^.

Zoo Negara Here We Come

^.^

Today is the 4th of December. Pin wasn't back yet but soon on the 8th. Therefore me and my besties decided to fully utilize the time left for him here in Malaysia by paying a visit to our national zoo. Not a bad idea eh, mel was the one who suggested it anyway. In fact, i haven't visited our national zoo for like 14 years since i graduated from elementary school.

Well, on that day itself we got ready by 11am, had our breakfast at o.u.g and off we departed to the national zoo.

We arrived at the zoo 30 minutes later. Before that, our car was hit by a noob satria driver. Got no idea why he drove so close to our car. I was trying to do a reverse and the next moment we had a mild hit from behind. Luckily there isn't any scratches and luckily it wasn't my fault. I got so stupid that time when what i did is apologizing to that driver which i don't have to. Maybe i'm too good as a person to apologize to someone when i did nothing wrong.

YO old buddy!

Best buddies with the tall one behind.

Birdies.

Chicks.

Old bird.

Ready to mate with??

Cheers.

AAAww Cute....

My sexy back.

The only drink we afford to buy. Lack of $$$ :'(

Me with the aged old turtle.

In da Aquaria.

Soon to leave.

Half asleep while riding the train.

A pic before leaving.

Mel driving us home Whee~~~

Look how serious she is.

Forever a cheerful person.

And so, we left zoo. Actually nothing much to see in our national zoo. We actually anticipated the display of penguins and bats, but they were all stated 'improvement under progress', that's a sad thing.

Aih, and i think Malaysia zoology should do something to improve more on the inside scenery of the zoo. At least compare with other zoos in other countries like Singapore. Singapore's national zoo is really fantastic with its animals housed in beautiful landscapes, plenty of well taken cared greeneries and most important i like their 'open zoo' concept which makes the zoo more adventure like. Animal lovers can take the best opportunity to come closer to the animals without being harmed as the dangerous species were all kept well in cages which aren't oppresive but safe.

So pleassee malaysia do something about it, if you want to make Malaysia popular, start from the base by improvising on newer stuff for example making our national zoo exeptional rather than spending miliions sending an astrounaut to space and more. Seriously, that's a waste. If Malaysia really 'boleh' then please stop relying on other countries and start improvising now!
