" I'm Superkid " primary school camp 2008

Time flies~ It's almost week 14 and finals is approaching to my doorstep, yet i still have uncompleted assignments and reports tangling around like i do not seem to care. I've been quite busy engaging myself more on my studies trying to mend over my results which i have undoubtedly did bad last semester.

During this struggling semester, i still managed to find myself doing something interesting and benificial to me and to the society. Once again, i've allocated time to participate in a primary school camp themed 'I'm Superkid' held at SRJK Pei Hua, Seremban specially organized by a charity foundation named Shan Xin Association which i've been part of since last year. Just to elaborate more on our charity foundation. Shan Xin is a charity foundation without political and racial background that only aims to create a joyful society by means of helping those in need and also to spread love to anyone who accepts it as a gratitude. We'll have events yearly for instance visiting the orphanage, old folks home and not forgetting camps for primary school kids and secondary kids as well.

This year's camp was quite spectacular to me whereas i'm part of the organizing commitee. For the past many weeks, i've practically spent my time in regular meetings every weekends just to make this year's camp a success. All of our efforts have finally paid off on the 16th to 18th of August where we've made this camp a fullfilling one to the kids and to all the volunteers as well.

It's all about unconditional and genuine love and care for others that makes life a meaningful one...

Here are photos of the camp held on the 16th-18th of August 2008.

TOUCHING MOMENTS :'(

i've finally shed my tears after so many years

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

This kid brought me lots of trouble

little cutie pie

One thing why i like being part of this voluntary family is that we all share the same qualities. We like spreading love and in return like being loved and cherished. Honestly i felt like i have found a settlement here where i can understand myself better and to please myself with an abundance of joy where money has no value for it. This is what i've sought for all this while that makes me appreciate each and every moments of my life. I'm glad that i've found my destiny ^.^

If I can help somebody as I pass along,

if I can cheer somebody with a word or song,
if I can show somebody he's traveling wrong,
then my living will not be in vain.

Adidas King Of The Road 2008

Prepared to kick ass

Finally the day has arrived! It's the 2008 Adidas King Of The Road a yearly marathon event held at Shah Alam particularly this year which i've anticipated for long. I could tell this marathon is way harder than my previous marathon at Dataran Merdeka with its distant road and muscle killing gradient that constantly test your strength and determination. Honestly, there are moments that i felt like giving up but just to jaga my face a bit, i ought to finish the race as i've promised myself.

In the end, the result turned out quite satisfying to me. As this was my 1st time participating in huge events like this, i've not won anything fascinating. Seriously i've not expected high on myself due to lack of practices. Yet, i still managed to qualify in time to win a medal as a consolation prize -.- thats quite encouraging ^^

So here are photos of the day ,

Yeah medals...

Marathon to me is one hell of a sport. It makes me crave for more as if it becomes a freedom outlet. I've learnt a couple of lessons though. The secret to be a winner in this game is the furthest one can drive himself once the effort gets painful. Besides, running is like a big question mark that exists to us each and every day. It asks you, 'Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today? I decide to be strong in each of my participation. Whatever the result i will leave it to god's will. Most importantly is what i've gain throughout my run which worth a million times!
