My Passion, My Pride

All this while when i flash back to my high school years, it has just been a wonderful journey for me where i've found many interests that i just wouldn't believe on my capability and passion for them. My high school years has taught me an abundance of lessons on learning to take a big leap forward for whatever i sought for, being calm and determine for being able to outrun myself and to boost my self confidence in either ways. Most of it i learnt it from sports and i'm really grateful to be gifted with talents that came from my instincts to enable myself to distinguish myself.

Along my self discovery journey during my high school years, it has just been great for me to be given an opportunity to take part in altheletic events, most of it running. One which i found that suits me best is long runs. I wouldn't say i'm really good at it considering the toughness of this sport and by comparing other sports that i've undergone. Marathon is simply a versatile sport that requires soft skills like strong mental toughness, determination, perseverence and a small percentage of techniques for one to be fit for it. For that reason, i wouldn't stop running which i love most, not in a melancholy way running away from problems but in an optimistic and healthy way to build up stronger genes and to enhance my versatility.

Well, that's enough for my past.

On the 29th of June 2008 a typical Sunday, i've finally leaped out from my nerdy life in UTAR to smell some enthusiasm in marathon and also to loose some weight in the 2008 Olympic Day Run, an annual event sponsored by McDonalds. It's great to have my coursemates joining me in this event both with the same purpose to achive our goals.

the morning breeze at Dataran Merdeka.

Yay i'm the 1st to reach the finishing line!

Dare challenge us?

My fellow coursemates.

Half-naked Chao.

The end.

p.s: Running for me is like giving me life lessons. Always strive hard for whatever you do. Whatever the result is doesn't matter. What matters the most is what you've thought and learnt during the process that polishes you as you try to figure out your problems and that's what brings out the success in you.

My Next Marathon : ADIDAS KING OF THE ROAD. It's time to conquer roads. HOORAH!!!

Slacking

Time flies ~ I know i haven't log in to my blog for quite some time. My mood for blogging is not really in the go, problems kept occuring and has finally been laid to rest. Procrastinate is also a potential reason for my irregularity towards blogging. Hence, i'm feeling a little guilty here having the thought that i might wanna write something over this column box. And yeah, this is it.

Y2S1 has finally begun. My results for my past semester were almost undescribable, Horrendous! if i might wanna say so. But, those are the past, i ought to buck up this semester and that's part of the reason why i'm unwilling to blog since i'm spending my time more on books. I might wanna manage my time well this semester, of course i found myself some activity to keep myself going. I've begun my gym session at tarc almost twice a week. Haha, hopefully a body like The Incredible Hulk would be nice. Hell! i'm just attempting a joke.

Well, recently i've finally got the chance to really spend some time with my mum. Mum was so busy since beginning of this year travelling around the world. She had almost set foot on most of the countries in Asia and has even gone to Europe backpacking. Omg, travelling has became her utmost passion rather than cooking.

Haha. At times i do felt like a baby boy, emotional perhaps. I'm quite dependant on my mum on letting go my pain and worries. I think this sensitive side of my attitude might became a laughter to those who don't know me well. My mum had almost became a bank for me to deposit my bad feelings. While she was away i just don't know who to go to. I always believe that the person i can really count on is my mum. Mother's love to me is almost instinctual, unconditional, and forever. Mum, it's great to finally have you back!

Recently i've also attended a sponsored course for elder adults actually. It's a sales skill enhancing program organized by AMC which i find it very interesting. I was the youngest amongst my coursemates. But, learning has no age barrier and i'm really grateful to be given the chance even by skipping one whole day of school lectures to attend a course like this. Throughout this course there were many life principle taught to us that corresponds to our success in whatever business we are doing. I've learn that a human's mind thinking can more or less affect the person we hate or love. The key to success is to always stay positive on whatever situation occured. Of course, there were more about this course that relates to being optimistic alone which i found it really awesome. So peeps, don't you hate your enemies. Indirectly, you'll get affected also in a bad way. Just like Newton's 3rd law haha! The action and reaction 'forces' correspond mutually.

Ahh, it's time to sleep. I'm going for the Larian Olympic event tomorrow. Omg, it's been ages since i've won some medals. Can i make it again this time? Nvm, i'll give it a try. Nights peeps.

p.s : I'm feeling a bit crazy nowadays. I always dreamt that i will in the near future become somebody big. Dreams that kept appearing to me seem like a long road ahead but at times i can really feel it close. I'm no longer young as i thought and I'm ready to take on challenges every brand new day as a given chance to make my dreams a reality.

My 20th birthday

Korean BBQ treat from my buddies

FINALLY i made it to age 20 on the 12th of May 2008. 20 years of my existence in this world has been a real blessing from god and also from my dearest family and friends. Duh, why am i saying as if i'm lucky still alive? I have to admit that in my 20 years of life i've grown a lot not without guidance and advices from my parents, the love and courage they've given to me perpetually, my dearest siblings who always stand by my side giving me a sense of comfort all this while and my buddies that respected me, cheer for me, cry with me and laugh with me to mould the person i am now today. I'd like to sincerely thank ya'll for trusting me and giving me hope to confidently face different situations and challenges i encountered from my birth to this contemporary moment. Hello! Sem Break

Finals were finally over and semester break has finally commenced!!! Beginning of my 1st week of sem break was awesomely great! However, tired in a way i didn't get a single day to rest! Had lots of fun with splashing water and winding roads illuminated with candles marking my 20th birthday!!! So yeah, this was my schedule for the week!

Right after my final paper on the 6th of May,
7-10th of May -->P.Perhentian 3 days 2 nights trip
11th of May -->Attended Elken's beauty carnival. What the heck?
12th of May -->My 20th birthday
13-15th of May -->Cameron 3 days 2 nights trip

Siao!

P. Perhentian 3 days 2 nights trip

I was quite dissapointed initially when few of my classmates had rejected last minute to participate in this trip organized by Utar Traveller's Den. However, i hadn't missed out any fun without few of their existence. I should say this trip is a memorable one for me. Let the pics do the talking.

Gua tempurung, Cameron & Sg Klah Hot Spring trip

This trip was quite a spectacular one for me. It was my 1st time driving to Cameron Highlands. My driving skills were finally put to the test by conquering narrow and winding uphill and downhill roads. Apart from that, i have my buddies from foundation studies to join me in this trip that spiced up the fun even more. This was a real exhausting trip especially to the drivers wei hang and me but not forgetting we had an abundance of laughter and joy throughout our trip!

Here's something that laughed our lungs out that day. We played the 'spot the killer" game. Each round there will be only one killer, one healer and one policeman while the rest will be civilians depending on players per round. Whoever spotted the killer is the winner and will be rewarded a chance to declare a penalty to the killer. On the other hand, if the killer kills half the civilians including the healer and policeman, he/she is the winner and gets a chance to declare a penalty to whoever he/she desires. Here's a footage of my buddies getting their punishments. This is so hilarious!

My new roommate

Out of a sudden today, i had a new roommate. Apparently, mum has agreed to let this boy whose parents had gone overseas to look after him for a long period of 2 weeks. Initially i was like WTF? cuz mum didnt gave me prior notice before letting a stranger to share the same bed with me. It seems this boy is one of my sister's classmate, quite a decent boy from the outlook of his. Funny thing about this boy is that he speaks without deep considering on what he really wants to convey. Therefore, i rarely understand what he tried to tell me and i just ignore his message unheartedly. Sleeping is another issue to me ><. This boy bothers me with number of times of his sleep talking.

Mum had told me a little of his background that seems really hilarious! This boy's papa and mama couldn't refrained him from playing computer games at home and therefore decided to dump their precious boy here with me to self- discipline himself while they were on their vacation overseas. WTH? LOL!!! I bet this boy is gonna become worse here especially when he's with me. In fact another reason mum made this boy my roommate is to control me from going to bed too late when i was actually burning midnight oil to prepare for my final paper while slacking a bit into online and gaming. The same excuse i gave mum for nagging me, "Maa, you saw me playing games oni but you didnt see me studying nia, i really worked hard u know?" In fact, i really worked hard in downloading movies i've missed and some hardcore gaming.

Aihz, mum has gave me this responsibility and i'll better delegate it well. From now on, i'll sleep a possible of 2-3 hrs earlier than before, no gaming in front of him, study in front of him that'll hopefully make him follow and advice him to make him speak appropriately. Am i being a great brother? haha i really doubt so!
